Dutch Boy® Glazing Putty is an alkyd-based compound that is formulated for filling minor surface imperfections on wooden surfaces.

PACKAGING: 
1-Liter and 4-Liters

FINISH: 
Flat

APPLICATION: 
Apply by putty knife in thin coats until there are no longer any surface imperfections.

PRACTICAL COVERAGE: 
10 to 12 square meters for full putty
25 square meters for spot putty

DRY THROUGH:
To touch: 1 hour
To recoat: 2 hours

THINNING SOLVENT: 
Do not thin. Use as supplied.

CLEAN UP  SOLVENT: 
Dutch Boy® Paint Thinner 6000

SURFACE PREPARATION:
Wooden Surfaces
Surfaces to be painted should be clean and dry, free from oil, grease, dust, dirt, and all loose grit and mortar. Hammer all nails deep enough to apply putty. Sand rough wood until smooth and then dust off before painting. Avoid using product on high friction areas.

Repainting
For surfaces previously painted with alkyd or solvent-based epoxy coatings, scrape off loosely adhering paint, remove oil and grease by detergent cleaning, then scuff sand.
